Knock Out Rose
Rosa 'Radrazz"
HEIGHT: 36"-48"
SPREAD: 48" Typically planted 36" on center
SUN: Full Sun
WATER: Regular
GROWTH: Fast
MAINTENANCE: Low
HARDY ZONES: 5-9
HABIT: Evergreen, great in massings but in shade they can become leggy and unkempt. I often locate these at the back of the bed because of their height and tendency to become scraggly towards the bottom
BLOOMS: Bright magenta colored flowers Spring through Fall

PERSONAL THOUGHTS ON THIS PLANT:
Knock Out Roses are so ubiquitous throughout Houston and elsewhere because of their ability to thrive and add a great deal of color with very little love and maintenance. They can withstand Houston's heat, droughts, and random freezes. I don't think they are the most beautiful or interesting rose, partly because they are so common, but they are reliable and fast growing they offer a more immediate impact.
