PERSONAL THOUGHTS ON THIS PLANT:
Little John Bottlebrush has an interesting leaf structure and coloring that can add interest to otherwise standard green planting beds. It's bright red flowers are set off well by its blue green leaves. I've seen it look outstanding paired with several junipers and hollies. I would say it's one draw back in Houston is that with our infrequent hard frosts, unestablished plants can die back or die off completely if not protected.
